True healing isn’t about running away from our experiences but understanding why they are happening and taking something important from each stage of our journey. It is then that we are ready to move through the other stages of healing. Eventually, we actually have to deal with the core problem. Unfortunately, as most of us have experienced, drugs just mask the problem for a time. Basically, give me drugs I just can’t handle the pain. It is at this point that we seek out a magic genie (a doctor, psychologist, or other specialist) to solve our problem. Often, it is at this point that we go to the second stage of pain. Therefore, when the suffering continues we feel overwhelmed. Really we could care less what caused the problem or how we could learn from the experience we just wonder when the pain will end. Of course, this feeling is uncomfortable and unwanted. When it comes to pain (physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual), the majority of us tend to have two experiences. ~ ThriftBooks: Read More, Spend Less ”ġ2 Stages of Healing : a Network Approach to WholenessĮxcludes: Africa, South America, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, American Samoa, Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Guam, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, New Caledonia, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna, Western Samoa, Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Russian Federation, Albania, Andorra, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Jersey, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, San Marino, Serbia, Svalbard and Jan Mayen, Ukraine, Vatican City State, Bermuda, Greenland, Mexico, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Armenia, Azerbaijan Republic, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Dominica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat, Netherlands Antilles, Nicaragua, Panama, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts-Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands
